Kanye West To Make History At This Year’s MTV Video Music Awards — Tha Wire

Kanye West will make history with a record-tying seventh VMA performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards this month. 

Yeezy is headed to Jay Z‘s old stomping grounds as this years VMA’s is going down at Brooklyns Barclays Center.  West joins previously announced performer Lady Gaga, who will debut a new song from her upcoming album ‘ARTPOP’.  Other than that MTV is remaining secretive about this years artist line-up.  However, they have guaranteed that this years performances and surprises will blow-out last years steller show.  We shall see.  Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis both lead all artist nominations with six each, including the Video of the Year nod for ‘Mirrors’ and ‘Thrift Shop.’
