2016 Step Up 4 Down Syndrome Walk

The 14th Annual Step Up 4 Down Syndrome Walk takes place Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles. If you or your group would like to participate, you still have time to register. You may do so HERE. Late online registration will close at 12:00 a.m. on September 29, and t-shirts can no longer be guaranteed.

The day of, walk-up registration will be between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. for $20 per person (cash, check or credit card will be accepted.) The Step Up 4 Down Syndrome Walk will get underway at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and a host of fun-filled activities for everyone to enjoy. Your participation in the walk and donations are needed and appreciated, as they go a long way in helping to bring awareness and acceptance of all individuals with Down Syndrome.

The money raised stays right here in our community and allows Up4Downs of SWLA to continue educating and supporting local families and fund various inclusive activities. Donations may still be made online until 11:59 p.m. on September 29th.
