2017 Mardi Gras Holiday Garbage & Trash Collection

Lake Charles, La. - With parades in full swing throughout the coming weekend and into the week, there will be no garbage and trash pickup on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in observance of the Mardi Gras holiday.

Monday, Thursday, and Friday’s routes will remain the same, but Tuesday’s garbage and trash will be picked up Wed., March 1.

As with all holidays observed by the City of Lake Charles, all services of the Department of Public Works, and all recycling stations, including the Team Green Recycling Truck, and the Incinerator will close on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Regular hours of operations continue on Wed., March 1.
