50 Cent is this much closer to making a deal to end his money woes. But ironically, it's going to cost him. TMZ reports today (April 12) that the Queens rapper and his team of lawyers have submitted a payment plan to the judge to fork over $23 million over the next 5 years to cover his debts.

Breaking down his bank by the numbers, Fif will pay Sleek Audio $17.3 million and SunTrust Bank $4.9 million. And Rick Ross' baby mama Lastonia Leviston, who originally sued 50 for $7 million over leaking her sex tape, will reportedly be getting $6 million.

The "I'm The Man" rapper has had a bumpy ride in the Connecticut court system in the past year. He filed for bankruptcy back in July of 2015, claiming his reason for filing was in order to re-organize his finances. At that time, Fif's debts were estimated between $10 and $50 million. In February of 2016, Fif reportedly told the judge that his creditors’ plan to be repaid was so extreme that it violated the 13th Amendment (the Amendment that abolished slavery and involuntary servitude). 50 Cent argued that the plan would create “a near-indefinite period of involuntary indentured servitude” for his creditors. And as recently as last week, the judge in the rapper's case banned the use of cell phones in the court room because of Fif's comical social media commentary about the case.

But now, putting all jokes aside, it finally seems 50 is on the path to debt freedom. In addition to the $23 mill, 50 says he plans to liquidate even more assets, including putting his Connecticut mansion on the housing market, to cover the remaining debts.
