5K To Be Run In Honor Of Mercedez Rios Garcia

Come out and show your love.  On behalf of the family, friends and community of Iowa there will be a 5k (3 mile) run/1 mile walk) for the Mercedez Rios Garcia.

The Iowa police department will escort the run, where funds raised from the event will support an annual scholarship fund to Iowa high students.  This event will begin at Iowa High located at 401 West Miller Street in Iowa, LA June 9th at 7:30 a.m.  The will also be food, refreshments and t-shirts for those who register to participate. Registration closes Thursday, June 7, 2012 @ 11:59 PM.  Children under 12 are free and persons 12 and up are $25.00 per person.
