In a recent interview with popular New York radio show Hot 97's The Morning Show, singer August Alsina admits the 'BET incident was partially his fault.' The singer even admits his negative comments about Trey Songz were idiotic on his part.

Back in April singer August Alsina kind of spazzed on 106 & Park host Keisha Chante after she asked him about his rumored beef with Trey Songz. Alsina explained his reaction that shocked everyone who was tuned in.

If you put me in a position…that’s how I felt. I went back to BET yesterday and that’s exactly what I said. [Keisha] was like, ‘I didn’t mean to disrespect you’ and I was like, ‘Well it wasn’t my intention to disrespect you.’ Before this conversation, I felt how I felt and I spoke on how I felt and I spoke don’t take back nothing that I said.

When asked about his remarks about Trey Songz in his past Rap-Up interview, the singer said,

I’m the idiot, because it’s like I said what I said thinking ‘maybe if I say this, these n*ggas won’t ask me about this no more’. But, in return it’s like ‘oh, everybody beefing.’ I never said that. With these interviews, they put up what they want to put up and not put up everything I said.
