Today in Tha Wire the hottest R&B singer on the planet is taking the country by storm with a massive tour right about now, and soon his life story will be in theaters.  Chris Brown will show fans I side of him, few have ever seen.  This summer see what makes him tick, why reacts the way he does, and what pressure is really like, as the young singer takes fans for a walk in his shoes in the compelling documentary“Welcome to My Life.”.

Chris teamed-up with his management company Riveting Entertainment and Fathom Events to produce and direct the upcoming cinematic film.  The official documentary will cover the singers rise to fame, infamous fall from grace, and his unbelievable climb back to the top of the charts.  The film will feature the star himself giving his view on moments that changed his life, an image that nearly destroyed him and the courage it took not to give up.  The theater doc will also include never before seen footage, and interviews with everyone from Jamie Foxx, Usher, Terrence J., D.J. Khaled, to J-Lo, Mary J Blige, Mike Tyson, and Rita Ora.  Peep the trailer below.

Welcome to My Life,” will premiere in select theaters across the country, for ONE NIGHT ONLY, on June 8, 2017.   Unfortunately, Lake Charles theaters will not be showing the highly anticipated documentary.  It's really a shame.  I called to verify, and so far there are no plans for Lake City theaters to show the film.  I truly hope they will reconsider, because it's gonna sell out everywhere else.  FYI a contributing factor is going to be an exclusive Q&A with the star on social media.  Fathom Events CEO, John Rubey, said “Throughout the evening, audiences will get unfettered access alongside fellow fans to Chris through interviews, behind-the-scenes shots and concert footage that gives everyone a ‘front row seat.”

Meanwhile Breezy is on the road with The Party Tour, and was in Houston last week. The May 4 stop went down at the Toyota Center, the next day Chris celebrated his 28th birthday with a big bash at H-Town's hot nightspot Grooves.   Everything was good...till process servers handed the singer court docs to appear at a hearing.  Earlier this year his ex, Karrueche Tran, filed papers asking for a restraining order. The model claimed the singer had been abusive to her in the past, and allegedly threatened her when their four-year relationship ended.

TMZ  reported in February Tran was granted permanent legal protection from Breezy, so quite frankly I don't really get what the hearing is for.  What else does she want?  Money? To get him arrested?   According to reports the actual hearing on the case has been postponed twice, because the singer never received the official paperwork.  Well he's supposedly got it now, and the hearing is reportedly gonna go down later this month.  Not sure how that's gonna pan out.  As far as past abuse, she probably should've mentioned that back when it allegedly occurred.  So timing of her claim is a little suspect.  However I don't know what the statute of limitations is on something like that.  I'm sure once the matter is handled in court, we will learn more details.  For now, that's the scoop.
