Last year, A Tribe Called Quest's new album, We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service became their first No. 1 Billboard 200 album in over 20 years. Now the legendary rap group has earned their first gold plaque in nearly two decades as the LP has been certified gold by the RIAA.

Busta Rhymes, who had a big part in the album, took to Instagram to congratulate the crew on the accomplishment. "After a 18.5 year hiatus a Gold album certification for We Got It From Here, Thank You For You For Your Service," he wrote "A testament to the real power of quality Hip Hop music. Thank you to my brothers of #ATCQ for allowing me the opportunity to be apart of Greatness again. I'm very proud of this one. #PHIFEDAWGRIPKING!!"

ATCQ breathed new life into the group and introduced themselves to a whole new generation with the comeback project, which unfortunately came out after group member Phife Dawg had passed.

It doesn't sound like the Tribe will be collecting their retirement watches just yet. According to Q-Tip, more is in store. “Stay tuned for any other incarnation because we don’t intend on stopping,” Tip told radio host Annie Mac in December. “That was Phife’s M.O., this time we gotta do it and keep going.’ He’s left us with the equation of how do we do it, but we’re going to need it, and we’re going to continue.”

Phife would be proud.
