Famed television actor Alan Thicke has died, according to TMZ.

The Canadian born actor who played hockey regularly, reportedly suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter, when he began to suffer from chest pains, then nausea and vomiting followed. Thicke was taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center by ambulance at almost noon Tuesday, December 13, where he was pronounced dead. Law enforcement told TMZ his organs would be donated, as a company was called to recover them.

Alan Thicke rose to fame as Jason Seaver on ‘80s sitcom “Growing Pains,” and went on to host game shows, write famous TV theme songs for “Diff’rent Strokes,” Wheel of Fourtune,” and “Growing Pains.” He also became a spokesman for numerous commercials. In 2105 the actor made an appearance on Fox series “Scream Queens,” and most recently on the Neflix reboot “Fuller House.”

Alan Thicke is survived by his three sons, singer Robin Thicke, Brennan, and Carter, and his wife Tanya. He was 69
