Boxer Adrien Broner wasn’t too happy about comments Floyd Mayweather Jr. made about him on last week. The Cincinnati native was recorded on video throwing money at the register in a Walmart, and when asked about it, Mayweather had a few things to say about the young boxer.

Broner defeated “The Money Team’s" Ashley Theophane on Friday night in Washington D.C., with a TKO in the ninth round. Broner then challenged Mayweather to a fight stating "I will never let a man disrespect me like that, so he gotta see me.”

Broner also went on to speak in an interview where he told a reporter “If we do fight, he won’t be 50 and 0."

When later asked about Broner’s comments Mayweather stated,

"Today is April Fool’s. That was the biggest joke of the night. What's important for Adrien is not just winning; life after boxing, that's what's very, very important. Don't be like me, Adrien; be better than me. I wish him nothing but the best.”
