AllHipHop reports FOX is pulling the plug on American Idol after 14 seasons on TV.  Billed as a “season-long celebratory event”,  the iconic show will come to an end after their 15th season is over.  A good sign the end was near, last season it averaged 10.3 million viewers and this season only nine million.

After its premiere in 2002, American Idol alum Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Carrie Underwood have raked in a total of 13 Grammys.  But those days of success are long gone.  The Rolling Stone reports it's been a decade since the show has produced award winning, platinum selling artists like that.

In addition, the FOX show used to average 20 million viewers a week and in 2006 peaked with 31.6 million viewers.  That has also changed significantly.  Ratings began taking a nose dive due to the ever changing judges, which started in 2010 when Simon Cowell left to join the competition The X-Factor.

According to CNN, AI's ratings continue to plummet as NBC's The Voice gains popularity.

Finally, Migos member Offset's gonna stay in jail a little while longer. During a hearing Friday (May 8), the rapper was denied bail for a second time and he put his foot in his mouth. Obviously not happy with Bulloch County Superior Court Judge John R. Turner's decision, the rapper cussed the judge out after hearing the ruling.

According to the Statesboro Times, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, got so rowdy he had to be escorted out of the courtroom.  Unfortunately, he brought it on himself.  The rapper was already a convicted felon when he was arrested April 18, which is why his bail was denied the first time. Stemming from that incident, he was charged with several drugs and weapons possession charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

To make matters worse while incarcerated and waiting for his next hearing, which was last Friday, he caught on surveillance assaulting another inmate and causing a riot. So he shouldn't have been surprised by the ruling.  Meanwhile, TheBoomBox reports Offset’s attorney, Drew Findling, believes the rappers are being unfairly targeted and prosecutors failed to prove ownership of seven guns and an assortment of marijuana and “lean” that police discovered during the arrest.

Looks like The Migos’ are gonna have to get their legal issues under control, before their careers are cut real short.  They've already had to reschedule their Young Rich Nation Tour from till July.  An if Offset doesn't get his mind right, the group's gonna have to postpone their tour indefinitely.  As far as their debut album, Y.R.N. is still on course to be released June 16.
