August Alsina reminisces over the good old days and prays for better in his latest video for “Hip Hop,” as he hangs out in an old neighborhood in his hometown of New Orleans.

“Hip Hop” is a recollection of August’s childhood in the Crescent City, and the video features clips of protesters holding up #BlackLivesMatters signs. A great song for such a time where relations between the police and the African American community are strained.
