AllHipHop reports rapper Beanie Sigel, who's real name is Dwight Grant, was shot Friday (Dec. 5) outside his home in Jersey. The 40-year old has only been outta prison for four months and at approximately 9:45 Friday morning, Sigel was shot in the stomach by an unidentified gunman.

NBC reports the former Roc-A-Fella MC has been living in a halfway house since being released from prison.  Beans was doing a two-year bid for tax evasion and was released in August. Though the rapper took a life-threatening gun shot to the abdomen, he is alive but in critical condition.

Sigel underwent surgery Friday at an Atlantic City, New Jersey hospital and remains sedated, and has talked to investigators yet.  The RollingStone reports Beans had dropped off his kids to day care and had just returned home, when an "unknown assailant" drove up and started shooting.  Sigel's attorney said that the rapper was not the intended target, but investigators believe he was.  Police reportedly acquired a search warrant and searched Sigel's house but did not elaborate what they were looking for.

It's also being reported that authorities interviewed several suspects, including one man who allegedly was scene jumping from a car after fleeing the scene.  However no arrests have been made at this time.  Listen to Tha Wire below and find out who police believe shot Sigel.

HollywoodLife.com reports Moseley had an affair with Trey Songz a few years back and her husband evidently never got over it.  Sources close to the couple told HollywoodLife.com;

“He was always a controlling guy, but things were getting out of hand.  [Earl] was paranoid that [Stephanie] was cheating on him and had threatened to kill himself in the past if she ever left him. The tragic part is that she wanted to leave him at least two months ago and was afraid to end things. She said she didn’t want to hurt him and now she’s no longer with us.”

According to Fox411, Earl Hayes was the son of soul legend Isaac Hayes, the rapper was known to run with boxer Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team. In fact they were known to be good friends.  Speaking of which, Floyd may have witnessed the murder/suicide.  Apparently, Hayes and Mayweather were FaceTime with on another prior to the shooting.

According to TMZ, Money May was pleading with Hayes to get himself together, but his efforts fell of deaf ears.  The boxer has since acknowledged he was a witness and heard everything.  Mayweather is said to be in shock and having an extremely difficult time dealing with seeing the horrifying murder/suicide unfold.

Trey Songz was devastated by the news and took to Twitter to acknowledge Moseley's death.
