2017 may be coming to an end but a number of rappers didn't take the final week of the year off. Lloyd Banks and Hopsin both dropped freestyles showing off their skills, while Lil Wayne finally released his long-awaited Dedication 6 mixtape.

On Weezy's latest project, one of the standout tracks is Wayne's collaboration with Nicki Minaj on "5 Star." Rapping over Post Malone and 21 Savage's "Rockstar" beat, Tunechi made the track his own, spitting, "I got a draco in the sofa/A eggo in the toaster/A cradle in the chocha/The yayo doin' yoga/And I wake up smell the Folgers/I don't know how I woke up/'Cause I was in a coma/But now I'm in the moment."

Lloyd Banks continued to show why he's one of the best in the game, dropping a new freestyle called "End of an Era." The G-Unit MC showed off his slick wordplay, rapping, "We don't go for threats so watch the way to talk around me/Better pump your fucking break I'll have to park you like Jabari/Yeah y'all came in like gorillas 'till they stomped you out the party/Trying to show off for these bitches playing sponsor out her probably."

Along with Banks, Hopsin also dropped his own freestyle, spitting over the Pharoahe Monch classic, "Simon Says." Hopsin came for rapper's heads with his bars, rapping, "I'm a nice guy, but when I'm in front of the notepad/It's ''Fuck it, dog,' off with these heads, shit'll grow back/How you claim to be ill when your career never seen the sequel?/Niggas ain't playing you when they beats pill."

Smokepurrp continued his successful 2017, teaming up with Nav on his latest banger, "Phone." The trap-infused song finds the two blending their signature sounds as Smoke sends shots at men who flex for social media. "Your man ain't got no swag/He hashtag #TrueReligionFiend," Purpp raps. "Got a check and run it up/All my chains on, but I'm keeping something tucked/Sawed my shotty off, now that's my little pump."

The week also saw Madeintyo link up with Metro Boomin for the song "MadeinBoomin." With a beat from Metro, Madeintyo's latest banger is sure to be a hit going in to the new year.

The final week of the year also brought us another mixtape from King Los. The Baltimore rapper dropped his Moor Bars project earlier in the week and delivered the standout track "Stay Focus."
