This week's best songs showcase some of the elite lyricists in the game today. Pusha T, Jay Electronica, Big K.R.I.T. and Boogie all delivered spectacular performances, making them easy picks for XXL's latest playlist.

Big K.R.I.T. proved Def Jam Records had no idea what they were doing with him on the new single "Free Agent." The Mississippi native embraced his return to the indies by taking his former label to task.

"Three presidents in five years, I never stopped/While they worried about them single sales, them albums flopped/Oh Lord, Lord, Lord, there they go/Trying to fuck me out another budget, I ain’t a ho/I produce and write my own shit, I know the score," Krizzle raps on the fiery cut.

The reclusive Jay Electronica finally reappeared via a guest appearance on Emeli Sande's "The Garden." The New Orleans rapper spit a lengthy verse on this track off Sande's upcoming album Long Live the Angels.

Pusha T took another opportunity to throw shots at Drake on a new song called "H.G.T.V." The G.O.O.D. Music president also used the Mike WiLL Made-It production to defend his signings and support Desiigner.

"El presidenté, Blobama, blow by ya/Chopper next to me in every picture, Osama/Oh mama, they question my starting line up/You only find a diamond from digging like coal miners/Don’t listen to ’em, Desiigner/The same rappers talking next year will be Uber drivers,” Pusha T raps.

Capping things off this week is Boogie's "Fuck 'Em All," which appears on the Compton MC's new Thirst 48 Part II mixtape. Boogie recruited the legendary DJ Quik and rising star Mozzy for a West Coast banger that's sure to start your weekend off right.
