Bey & Jay Release Family Photo’s!

JAY-Z and Beyonce make it official and have posted photos of baby Blue Ivy for the first time.  The photos of baby Blue Ivy were posted on the social networking site Tumblr.  No worries, I have ALL of them right here!

Yesterday, Bey and Jay opened a Tumblr account.  Click this link and you can view all the photos http://helloblueivycarter.tumblr.com, where they posted five photos of their beautiful baby girl, including two with the stars themselves.  With the pictures, they posted this message: 'We welcome you to share in our joy.  Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives', with the note being signed "The Carter Family".

By the way, according to the Washington Post, they have approached the US Patent and Trademark Office to file a trademark application for Blue Ivy Carter's name.  Because several other parties had tried to file an application for their babies name, but failed.  So, to protect themselves and their baby, they're gonna to stop any further attempts.  Fortunately, the trademark office has declined recent applications, sighting that Blue Ivy was the name of a 'very famous infant' and that products bearing the name could wrongly imply approval by her parents.  More than likely, Bey and Jay will get the authorization because, usually a request is granted to parents when their children are still minors.  It's a shame they have to do that though.
