At the NFL's Super Bowl press conference today, Beyonce admitted and addressed allegations that she lip synced the national anthem during the presidential inauguration.

In the video Beyonce explains that she was not prepared for the performance and had not rehearsed with the orchestra, so she sang along to her prerecorded track in order to make sure that everything went smoothly on President Obama's inauguration day. She also added that the process is done by other singers as well.

"I am a perfectionist, and one thing about me is, I practice until my feet bleed, and I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra.

It was a live television show and and a very very important day and an emotional show for me, one of my proudest moments and due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check.

I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud. So I decided to sing along with my prerecorded track, which is very common in the music industry, and I'm very proud of my performance.
