In other news, Billboard reports rap legend DMX was arrested Thursday July 13, 2017 for tax fraud. X whose real name is, Earl Simons, was reportedly charged with tax fraud by the U.S. Attorney for New York. This is pretty crazy and couldn't have come at a worse time. The 46-year old rap superstar was gearing up to head out on the 20th Anniversary Reunion Tour, with the rest of the Ruff Ryder clique. Matter of fact, the first date is scheduled for next Saturday July 22.

Now things are in limbo as to whether or not, he'll be able to perform. X is facing some serious charges, which can bring some major time if he gets convicted. The iconic rapper/actor was indicted Friday appearing in federal court to be formally charged. Basically X is accused of concealing millions of his income, to avoid paying roughly $1.7 million in taxes.

U.S. Attorney’s Office released a laundry list of charges in the indictment. Accusing The Dog of evading taxes, by setting up various accounts in other people's' names. Then paying most of his bills with cash. Ironically also mentioned,  was when the music mogul reportedly refused to accept a check for appearing on VH1’s Celebrity Couples Therapy, until it was reissued without taxes being withheld.

As it stands, X is looking at 14 counts, they include- one count of corruptly endeavoring to obstruct and impede the due administration of Internal Revenue Laws, one count of evasion of payment of income taxes, six counts of evasion of assessment of income tax liability, and another six counts of failure to file a U.S. individual income tax return."
