Today in Tha Wire Beyoncé might the next co-owner of the Houston Rocket's. According to PEOPLE, the NBA team is up for sale and Mrs. Carter is supposed to be interested. Rockets owner, Leslie Alexander, bought the team in 93' for $85 million, and put them up for sale last month. Sports Illustrated reports today the franchize is worth an estimated, $1.65 billion. The Rockets came in at #8, on Forbes' list for The NBA's Most Valuable Teams in 2017.

Bloomberg News reports that price tag has the potential to expand well past $2 billion, before it's all said and done. However, if anyone has the coins to purchase the famous H-Town team...Queen Bey sure does. Besides she'd get a lot of pointers from Mr. Carter. From the rebranding of the Brooklyn Nets, to being instrumental in the Barclays Center, to currently running  his sports empire with Roc Nation.

Despite all the hype, Beyonce hasn't given any public announcements in regard to buying her hometown team. Time will tell. In the meantime here's more info on why Bey folks think Bey make that move.
