Big Boi just announced he has a brand new album on the way, and fans won't have to wait too long before they get a preview of the sounds to come. The Outkast veteran took to Instagram to announce the new project, which will be titled Boomiverse, and wrote in the teaser trailer that it would be "coming soon."

The project will be the third solo album from the Atlanta native, and will follow in the footsteps of his 2012 release Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Along with the trailer to the upcoming album, Big Boi also revealed two new tracks would be releasing in the future with some big names. The first record is called "Mic Jack," which has a guest feature from Maroon 5's Adam Levine, and the second is called "Kill Jill" that has features from both Jeezy and Killer Mike. Both songs are slated to be released later this week, with "Mic Jack" dropping at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow (April 21) on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, while "Kill Jill" will be available later tomorrow night.

The last project Big Boi was part of was his joint collaboration with Phantogram called Big Grams, which was a seven-track EP containing appearances from both Run the Jewels as well as Skrillex.
