Big K.R.I.T. is back. The Mississippi rapper made his mark last year by releasing It's Better This Way, which XXL named one of 2015's best mixtapes.  Now, K.R.I.T. offers up his first solo record of 2016 with the new song "So Bad." The track is self-produced as Krizzle speaks on his rise in the rap game over a soulful beat.

"All I ever wanted was a million dollars till I heard ain't enough/Couple houses, different states, cars, different ways you could fuck a million up/Now is just the time that I spend chilling with my girl, kicking with my friends/Overseas car keys for the freak/Did enough shows, will be back again/Wanna save the world on the go/Grandma in a grave, rest her soul/Wish she lived to be a hundred so she could see her boy getting old," Big K.R.I.T. raps on the final verse.

Big K.R.I.T.'s latest track also arrives on the anniversary of his outstanding project Return of 4eva, which was released five years ago today (March 28). The "I Got This" rapper's breakthrough release was his 2010 mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, but Return of 4eva solidified K.R.I.T. as one of the impact players in the modern hip-hop landscape.

If you can't get enough of Big K.R.I.T.'s work on the boards, make sure you check out his appearance on the latest episode of Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette." The episode saw the Meridian native picking three records while blindfolded and turning them into a smooth beat. K.R.I.T. even jumped in the booth to lay down some vocals on his unique creation.
