One day after dropping his first new single in over a year ("Confetti"), Big K.R.I.T. returns with a trailer featuring more new music. It's...pretty interesting, to say the least.

In the vid, K.R.I.T. fires a bullet in what appears to be his house. A short time later, he can be seen rocking an all black outfit as he drags a human body out of his crib. It looks like he's just killed someone, but who, and why? The first question gets answered a short while after the rapper leaves his house and heads into the woods. But first, let's talk a bit about the track, which finds the rapper doing some serious reflection over an instrumental that gets more and more urgent as the clip draws to an end.

"I'm a proud parent now, as I was a proud parent then/I saw you grew up to become the kind of king I knew you'd always been/Indeed, there's a finishline for me, but for you, there's no end," raps K.R.I.T., whose new album has reportedly already been completed.

As those above lyrics pop up, the former XXL Freshman finishes digging a hole and putting the lifeless body inside of it. The victim is none-other-than himself—or at least, the old version of himself. Was the person K.R.I.T.'s rapping to in the lyrics on the track K.R.I.T. himself? We'll let you decide that for yourself.
