Big K.R.I.T. got some inspiration from Kanye West's "30 Hours" to create a new version of the track. The Mississippi rapper's rendition titled "$30" sees Big K.R.I.T. rapping about the days when he was barely getting by but would not give up.

"Winter time cold, bought a young player covers/Eviction notice on the door, I'm sorry for the trouble/I ain't have a job, but the beats were a theme to our soul/That bass fill the space when the heater was broke/And those Hamburger Helper meals that sat on the stove/Almost made a n---a sick cause the mixture was old/It's funny how that funny style shit never changes/Humbling, n---as ain't come up how we came up," Big K.R.I.T. raps.

The song falls right line with much of Big K.R.I.T.'s work as he raps about his humble origins. Those reflections on the days before rap stardom have helped him build a lasting connection with many fans.

The "Mt. Olympus" rapper's spin on Kanye West's "30 Hours" might be another sign that Big K.R.I.T. has a new project in the works. The Def Jam artist has been making his presence felt over the past two months with some new tracks.

Big K.R.I.T. celebrated the five year anniversary of Return of 4eva last month with a new song titled "So Bad." He also impressed fans with his appearance on Mass Appeal's web series Rhythm Roulette. The spot was so well received that K.R.I.T. ended up releasing a full version of the song he made on the show.
