Birdman may have recently ran into some financial problems, but that didn't stop the Cash Money Records founder from placing an expensive bet on Sunday's (Feb. 4) Super Bowl matchup between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.

According to Philly rapper AR-Ab, he and Birdman made a $200,000 bet on the game and AR-Ab ended up winning after the Eagles beat the Patriots 41 to 33. It appears the original bet was set at $100,000 as the rapper wrote on Instagram, "Somebody Tell My OG @birdman5star $100,000 is a BET.... I Bet Da House On My #EAGLES."

Following his original post, AR-Ab posted an update on IG revealing he actually won $200,000. "Actually it was $200,000... I ain’t do nuffin but buy more houses and pay for my homies Lawyers and Appeal Lawyers," he wrote on a social media post.

In related news, Birdman was ordered to immediately surrender the possession of keys and security system access to his 20,000-square-foot compound. The mogul, who originally took a loan for the home in 2015, was embroiled in a fight with EMG Transfer Agent and was hit with a $12 million foreclosure lawsuit in December 2017.

Birdman has also recently got back to music, teaming up with Toni Braxton on the song "Heart Away." A remix of Derez Deshon's "Hardaway," Birdman and Braxton put their own spin on the track. "I got something worth more than money/Go to church, free the birds on Sundays/So much pain, I took you away from it/When I pull up on you I'm stuntin'/You got a bad man feeling good/Got a rich nigga from the hood," Birdman spits.
