Birdman is still trying to mend his relationship with Lil Wayne. The Cash Money Records founder sent out multiple birthday wishes to Weezy on Instagram today (Sept. 27).

"HBD MY SON @liltunechi #BEFORE ANYTHANG #CMR uptownshit #BMJR #ymcmb4life #bloodlove," Birdman wrote in the first of four posts.

The timing of this is interesting since Weezy just got some good news in his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records. A judge ordered Birdman to show his financial records to the court. This came after Lil Wayne alleged that Birdman spent $70 million of a $100 million advance, which the two were supposed to share for the Young Money label.

Despite everything pointing to the contrary, Birdman continues to speak as if he and Lil Wayne will solve their differences. In August, Birdman told ESPN’s Cari Champion he would fix the relationship.

"I’ma heal that. He’s still my son," the New Orleans native said. "I don’t like how a lot of this shit went down, definitely don’t like a lot of shit he had said, but at the end of the day, I would never in my life say nothing negative about him. Even if he stay with me or go do whatever he want to do. I respect him as a son. I’ma fix it. Whatever happens after that, we gon’ let it be."

Birdman's confidence seems delusional when looking at Lil Wayne's comments on the situation. The "A Milli" rapper recently told Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe that he will never work with Birdman again once their money issues are settled.
