Today in Tha Wire I got two words...BLACK PANTHER! The wait is over, well that's if you were lucky enough to get a ticket. Marvel's latest film is a straight up master piece, according to just about every film critic that matters. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, this flick is THE highest anticipated "must see" in decades.

Chadwick Boseman goes from James Brown, to superhero and defender of Wakanda in the live action movie Black Panther. Also known as King T'Challa he returns home, but is challenged by his long-time adversary Erik Killmonger, played by Creed star Michael B. Jordan. It won't be easy getting by the kings warriors played by, Lupita Nyong'o and Dani Guinea all-female Dora Milaje. Yaaaas! Girl power baby!!

This is an epic science fiction film, based on the world's first black superhero. The Black Panther character made his debut with the Fantastic Four in 1966. Since then, he's appeared in various TV shows, animated films and video games. Most notably Black Panther ran in thirteen Jungle Action comic book series, which were widely considered to be Marvel Comics first graphic novels. During an interview with Sway Calloway of SiriusXM's Sway In The Morning, the cast sat down and shed some light on how they feel about the film. They all acknowledge the the excitement it's generating. At one point Chadwick got emotional while remembering two of his biggest fans. He witnessed the film’s impact first-hand wished they could have lived long enough to see it. The children were both terminally ill with cancer, and sadly passed away prior to the movie being complete.
