Ice cream lovers are rejoicing all over the state as, Blue Bell Ice Cream, has officially returned on store shelves across Louisiana with seven flavors.  KPLC-TV reports Blue Bell rep, Chris Verdin,  told them "It's going to be crazy. Stores are going to be emptied this afternoon, I would imagine. It's going to be pretty busy."

He's probably right as Blue Bell fan Nelda Fontenot, said of the ice creams return "When I heard it was coming back I was probably the happiest person on earth."

The nations favorite ice cream was taken off shelves in April, after a lethal Listeria outbreak forced their creamery to shutdown.  As a result of the deadly outbreak three people died.

KPLC reports Blue Bell is only releasing seven flavors of ice cream for now.  They are as follows: Homemade Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, The Great Divide, Cookies 'n Cream, Buttered Pecan, Pistachio Almond, and Peppermint.  More flavors are coming soon according to Blue Bell reps.
