Boosie BadAzz might be a Louisiana rap legend, but, he is, first and foremost, a family man. The rapper put that side of his life on full display on Thursday (Jan. 4), when he uploaded videos of himself learning to ice skate onto Instagram.

"Ice skating with the kids," Boosie says in the video, the first of four. "Shit the hardest shit I ever done in my life." From there, we see Boosie make a comical attempt at gliding across the rink.

"You slow daddy!" we hear in the background, as Boosie uses a red skate trainer to help him maintain his balance as he learns the fundamentals of ice skating. There's more where that came from, too.

In the next vid, we see Boosie skating without the trainer. It doesn't look all that graceful, but he's definitely getting around. "I can do anything!" he shouts in the clip. By the last video, he looks more or less completely comfortable.

Boosie is coming off the release of his BooPac album last month. Speaking with XXL this past fall, he explained why he made his album name a reference to the late Tupac Shakur.

"I named it BooPac because it was a lot of pressure from my fans to name it BooPac too," Boosie said at the time. "A lot of people didn’t grow up on 2Pac. He affected me in a way where he made me want to rap and tell my story. He wasn’t afraid to talk about what I went through. So 2Pac was a heavy influence on my career as far as me wanting to not fabricate my story, me wanting to really rap about what I really went through."

Check out Boosie trying his hardest to learn the art of ice skating in the videos below.
