Imperial Calcasieu Museum has teamed up with Citgo to offer kids in our area a unique opportunity to discover Asian art.  Asia is known for its beautiful art and wondrous architecture and this year, camp goers will get to learn about the various techniques it took to accomplish these masterpieces.

Branch Out Summer Arts Camp is open to students who've completed grades K through 8 and will take place at Imperial Calcasieu Museum, located at 204 W. Sallier Street in Lake Charles.  Camp is from 9am to 11:30 am Monday- Friday and will run through  July 7-31.  The daily curriculum will cover Asian art techniques in the form of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture making and more.

Space is limited to 50 children per session and register here.  For additional information such as tuition and scholarships, please contact the Museum at (337) 439-3797 or  impmuseum@bellsouth.net
