Former LSU Quarterback Jordan Jefferson has been ordered to report to jail by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday by District Judge Chip Moore.  The Judge ordered Jefferson to jail after he was arrested on drug charges last week with dismissed LSU player Tyrann Mathieu.

WWL TV is reporting:

WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge reports that a judge has ordered former LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson to report to jail by 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The report says that District Judge Chip Moore ruled that Jefferson's arrest last week on drug possession charges is a violation of the terms of his bond related to his arrest last year after a bar brawl.

Jefferson was arrested in 2011 in connection with the fight at a bar near the LSU campus.

Last week he, along with former Tiger Tyrann Mathieu and two other former Tigers, was arrested after police responded to an apartment complex and found marijuana inside.

It is possible that Jefferson would be required to remain jailed until his next court hearing, which is scheduled for Dec. 12.
