UGK might have disbanded after the tragic death of Pimp C in 2007, but there may be some material in the vault that they made with Three Six Mafia. During an interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN's Drink Champs podcast, Bun B reveals UGK and the Oscar-winning trio were once going to be a super group, with their first song slated to be "Sippin' on Some Sizzurp."

While the super group never actually formed for a full project, Bun B reveals they were going to be referred to as The Underground Mafia, introducing their group through UGK's crossover hit.

"'Sippin' on [Some] Sizzurp' was actually the first song from a group that UGK and Three Six Mafia was doing together," Bun explains. "We were going to be The Underground Mafia."

The veteran MC also says that while they do have a couple of songs together, it's not well known that "Sippin on Some Sizzurp" was supposed to be the super group's first song together, as well as "Like A Pimp."

"I don't know if too many people know that," Bun B continues. "A couple of people might know that. And 'Like a Pimp.' So 'Sippin' on Some Sizzurp' was for their album, and the song 'Like a Pimp' was the song for our album. We did 'em Super Bowl weekend in Atlanta."

Fans might be disappointed to learn the super group was never able to make a project together, since Pimp C was locked up while they were planning one out.

"We never got that far into it because Pimp ended up getting locked up," he says. "So we never even got to finish the project."

Apparently, the original version of UGK's smash hit, "Int'l Player's Anthem" with Outkast was actually featuring Three Six Mafia, but that version wasn't able to clear.

"Most people don't know that the original version of '[Int'l] Player's Anthem' was us and Three Six Mafia," Bun B concludes. "So that's like the return actually of us getting back to Underground Mafia music, but that version wouldn't clear."
