Calcasieu Parish Back-To-School Registration Information And Dates To Remember
School in Calcasieu Parish starts Wednesday, August 14, 2013. If you need to get your child registered, here are some available dates.

Below is a list of schools in Calcasieu parish that are holding registration in the next couple of days.
LaGrange 2013-14 School Registration:
Fri, Aug 2 Beginning Promptly at 8 am until 11:30 am--1st time Freshmen Registration; $30 registration
Mon, Aug 5 8:30 am-9:30 am--Seniors; $30 registration, $15 Senior Fee
10:00 am-11:30 am--Juniors; $30 registration
12:30 pm-2:00 pm--Sophomores; $30 registration
2:00 pm-3:00pm--Freshmen/Late Registration; $30 registration
Tues, Aug 6-7 8:30 am - 10:00 am each day--Students NEW to Calcasieu Parish; $30 registration
It is important that you attend registration. During registration, you will get your schedule and take ID picture. During registration you will be given the option of purchasing a 2013-14 Resume' Yearbook ($35) and School Spirit t-shirt ($15) which may be worn on Fridays.
Only Cash or Money Orders are allowed for any school fees or debts.
Barbe High School Registration:
Thursday August 1st- Senior registration 8:30 am to 11 am and Junior registration 1 pm to 3:30 pm
Friday August 2nd- Sophomore registration 8:30 am to 11 am
Monday August 5th- Freshman registration 8:30 am to 11 am
Tuesday August 6th- Freshman registration 8:30 am to 11 am
Tuesday August 6th- 9th-12th MAKE-UPS 8:30 am to 11 am
Sam Houston High School:
Sam Houston High School has announced back-to-school registration information.
Seniors can register from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 2.
Juniors can register from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 5.
Sophomores can register from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 6.
Freshmen can register from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 7.
There will be an activity fee of $30 for all students, except STEPS. There will be a senior fee of $30 for only graduating seniors.
Parking fees are optional at $10. Also, yearbooks for $45 are optional.
All fees can now be paid with one check.
Reynaud Middle School:
Registration for grades 6th, 7th and 8th grade will be from 9 am-3 pm Thursday & Friday August 1st & 2nd. Appointments after 3 pm may be arraigned by contacting the counselor at (337) 217-4800 Ext. 6312
W.W. Lewis Middle School:
W.W. Lewis Middle School in Sulphur has announced school registration information.
Student registration will be held in the cafeteria on the following dates:
8th Grade – Aug. 1 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
7th Grade – Aug. 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
6th Grade – Aug. 5 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
All major fees will be assessed in one $41 payment at the time of registration. The payment covers the school activity fee as well as the fees for P.E. and all four core subjects. Parents and students have the option to purchase T-shirts and yearbooks separately but everything can be purchased with one payment. Other classroom fees such as enrichment will be collected once school begins.
Any student who does not attend registration or who is unable to pay fees will receive his or her schedule on the first day of school and will be asked to pay fees at that time.
Students and parents are welcome to tour the campus once the registration process is complete.
Ralph Wilson Elementary School:
New student registration (Pre-K through 5th grade) for Ralph Wilson Elementary School, at 1400 Opelousas Street in Lake Charles, will be held from Aug. 5 to Aug. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon. Students should have with them a permit to register, Social Security card, shot record and a birth certificate.
