When George Burton, of Sacramento, California returned home Thursday, there was a FedEx/Kinkos box with his name and return address handwritten on the package. Burton and his dog sitter cut the package open to find a layer of spray styrofoam, beneath that layer of foam, an estimated $24,000 worth of marijuana.

Burton told Sacromento's KXTV,

"We break into it, I look and say, 'This isn't what I think it is,'"

Burton even has a message to the actual owners of the 11 pounds of marijuana.

"I don't have it," Burton said. "If you dropped it here and my house is some kind of drug drop spot, Sac PD has it. Don't use my house anymore. Go find somewhere else to drop off your marijuana." - KXTV

The home owner has since increased security at his home, siting his concerns that someone may come looking for the package, an he also added, "People have gotten hurt for a lot less than $24,000 worth of marijuana."

Police suspect that his name may have been chosen at random. Watch the video for more about the illegal mystery package.
