Today in Tha Wire Jimmy Fallon announced Tuesday, he's gonna have a new co-host starting April 9, 2018. This is the first time ever, that there's been a co-host on The Tonight Show. Second...this marks the first time a rapper, much less a female, will hold down the guest co-host duties. But hey, there's a first time for everything! XXL reports more hilarious back and forth is coming to late night TV, with Cardi B joining The Tonight Show family!
I could definitely see why she was invited to be a part of the show too. Cardi is naturally funny, she's got an infectious personality, and it's obvious that Fallon couldn't be more excited to have the Bronx femcee back on the show. The TV host/actor shared the exciting news on Twitter
In other Cardi news, for the first time ever, the Bodak Yellow rap diva will kick it with the SNL crew. This Saturday(April 7) she'll be a musical guest, while Black Panther superstar, Chadwick Boseman, will hold down hosting the show. By the way Monday (April 2,) Cardi released the music video for her second single, Bartier Carti, featuring a cameo appearance of her Boo Offset.
This week Cardi also dropped the 3rd track, Be Careful, for her forthcoming debut album. Speaking of which, her highly anticipated LP "Invasion Of Privacy" will finally be in stores this Friday April 6, 2018! The first week of April has been a HUGE moment in the career of the Bronx mommy.
