Today (Thursday, January 19) is a historic moment in time, as it's the last full day that Barack Obama will be President of the United States.  It's an pivotal moment in American history, as the first African American President prepares to leave office.  However Obama leaves with his head up and the highest American approval rating of any outgoing President at 60%.  On that same note going into his second term, President Barack Obama's pre-inaugural approval rating of more than 80%, was also the highest in history.

According to reports Donald Trump will be making history of his own, by being the most unpopular President-Elect of all time, with a pre-inaugural approval rating at 40%.  So he's got a lot of work to do, a lot to prove and some very big shoes to fill.

GQ Magazine(Why Obama Will Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents of All Time) compiled the thoughts of several stars into a video.  All offered their thoughts on what the Obama presidency meant for them.  Words like "Eloquent", "Dignified," "Grace," "Compassion," "Pleased," "Proud," "He set a precedence," came to the mind as celebs from all walks of life took a moment to simply say ....Thank You. Peep the videos below:

When I think about the legacy of President Barack Obama....I'll think YES WE DID!!!!!   I feel so grateful to have been able to have seen and lived, in this moment in history of my and my childrens lifetimes.  I truly hope that his presidency opens the door for the next African, Hispanic, Asian, any American of color, to the very first female President of The United States of America.  Mr. President thank you for giving the world hope!
