Today in Tha Wire, Billboard Magazine honors Birdman & Slim as being among the most powerful in music and the 911 call from Suge Knight's hit-and-run is released.

In spite of all the drama and lawsuits, Birdman and Slim and their Cash Money empire continues to make an impression on the music world.  Every year Billboard magazine lists the worlds most powerful people in the music business.  AllHipHop News reports last year the brothers were ranked at 50 and this year their 90 on Billboards 2015 Power 100 list.  By the way, Birdman is also the ONLY rap mogul/performer on the 2015 list.

As for other industry insiders connected to Hip Hop listen to Tha Wire below.  Interestingly enough, the Carter's, Jay & Beyoncé were named 2014’s most powerful people in music, but didn't make this years edition.

In other news, Suge Knight is currently facing a possible 30-years in prison after landing a murder charge for the death of Terry Carter in a recent hit-and-run.  Knight is being accused of delibritly running over Carter with his truck in a Compton restraunt parking lot. Cle “Bone” Sloan was also injured during the incident.

Now TMZ has released audio of a 911 call from an alleged witness at the scene. The female caller can be heard telling the dispatcher the driver “pulled back and pulled forward” to run the victims over. The woman also revealed she followed the truck and took pictures of the vehicle.  Take a listen below.
