October 19, 2011 As the Tigers turn! Just when LSU was getting over the whole Jordan Jefferson scandal, another issue has now arisen.
The Associated Press and ESPN are reporting that LSU has suspended star cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, along with defensive back Therold Simon and running back Spencer Ware for this Saturday's home game against Auburn.
It is unknown if the suspensions will last further than this Saturday's game -- and right now, the school isn't releasing WHY the three are benched.

With the autumn temperatures starting to fall, the action on the field is heating up. This week in college football features a key in-state Big Ten matchup, along with top 25 games in the Big 12 and Pac-12. Here are the highlights for this week’s key matchups.
The McNeese Cowboys homecoming game will be Saturday October 22nd against Sam Houston at Cowboys Stadium at 7pm.
The University has announced the information for the McNeese homecoming parade that runs down Ryan Street on Thursday October 20th. It’s just one thing going on in a week chopped full of events.

The McNeese Cowboys stopped a 2 point conversion from Northwestern State to win 20-18 Saturday night. The Cowboys are now 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in Southland Conference play.
Now get ready Cowboy fans because McNeese will now get set for a showdown with now Division 1-A Texas State this Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium.

LSU senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson was indicted yesterday on simple battery charges by a Baton Rouge grand jury. Just a couple hours after the decision, LSU announced that both Jordan Jefferson and Joshua Johns have been reinstated to the LSU football team and can begin practice immediately.

WWL out of New Orleans is reporting that the Grand Jury has indicted Jefferson on Simple Battery charges while Joshua Johns was not indicted
