Today in Tha Wire, what a difference a few days make.  I'm still a fan of both teams no matter what, but in any competition someone has to win and someone has to take a "L."  As we all know the Golden State Warriors fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, losing 93 to 89.

The Cavs took the lead in the final minutes of the game, with 1:22 on the clock, to clench Cleveland's first-ever NBA championship and first professional sports championship since the Brown won the Super Bowl in 1964.

The was one of the most exciting NBA Finals in a longtime.  Golden State was a favorite.  For good reason too. They had a steller year setting a record for the most wins in a season, 73-9.  Warriors baller Steph Curry was named MVP for the second year in a row. Though he was the 11th player to win back-to-back MVP honors, Curry is the first player in NBA history to win the MVP award by unanimous vote. Matter of fact, he won all 131 first-place votes!  Plus Golden State led the series with a 3-1 advantage.

But it wasn't enough to keep Lebron and the Cavs from the big win.  Along the way, there's been a lot of drama with fans from both sides and Curry's wife made the mistake of getting involved.  Getting caught-up in the back-an-forth, nasty insults, bad calls and her husband being ejected from the game, Ayesha Curry was feeling some type of way.  So she made it known by going on a Twitter rant. I'm not mad at her for trying to defend her man and her family.

BIG mistake to do it on social media.  Now the internet

https://youtu.be/tJKKgMOMXVo Pour thing.  Unfortunately this will get worse before it gets better.  Sucks to be on the losing side.  Damn!  Needless to say, looks like French Montana and Drake had a friendly little wager and Drizzy lost $60K.

#FrenchMontana won a $60,000 bet from #Drake that the Cavs would win the #NBAFinals
