According to AllHipHopCharlamagne tha God has landed himself an important role in Master P’s upcoming biopic, “The King of the South,” as young Percy Miller’s uncle.

The Breakfast Club co-host and host of MTV’s Uncommon Sense released the below statement:

It is and honor and a privilege to participate in Master P’s biopic. I’m from South Carolina and Master P was one of the first people speaking for us country folks on a national level and to see him achieve what he achieved in this game was beyond inspiring I’m thankful to be a part of a story that I know will influence people the way it influenced me.

Charlamagne is not alone, as Queen Latifah and veteran actor and New Orleans native Wendell Pierce, have also signed on to star in the biopic to play young Percy Miller’s parents, said AllHipHop.

“The King of the South” is set to hit theaters nationwide in April 2016. Get more details via the films official website.
