Today in Tha Wire The Breakfast Club's most controversial and unapologetic DJ, Charlamagne Tha God, scored a HUGE win when he published his first book last month.  He's famously known as urban radio's most outspoken DJ's of all time.  Tha God has been writing a check with his mouth, his butt's been cashing on Power 105's iconic show for the past 7 years.   Though he may piss a few people off, with his blunt manner of speaking, he's usually on the money...no matter how painful the truth may be.  His B.C. "Donkey of The Day" segment is proof of that.  His hee-haw award, is given to the biggest idiots of the week, which has even included himself!

Speaking of truth, he lets the world in on a few truths of his own, as he details his life story in his first autobiography.  He gives up the embarrassing moments in his life, when he realized his purpose, and more in his first book.  Since being released April 18, his book, Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes To Those Who Create It, debuted in the #6 slot on New York Times Best-Seller list this week.  Below Tha God talks his thoughts and book on The View.

The brotha from Moncks Corner, Souf Cackalacky is movin on up!  Congrats Charlamagne.  FYI his Power co-worker, Angie Martinez, copped the #1 on the NY Best Seller list with her book My Voice: A Memoir. Make sure you pick em' both up!

For all things entertainment, tune into Tha Wire every weekday and only on The People's Station 107 Jamz.
