Check Out My Recap On The Lake Charles Black Rodeo [PICS]

This past weekend was a great weekend in Lake Charles. It all started with the Louisiana Throwdown on Friday night at Cowboys, with over 900 people in attendance. Then Saturday night, it was the Lake Charles Black Rodeo inside the Lake Charles Civic Center. I had the chance to go and co-host the event with my new friend, Mr. Tabari Daniels from Biloxi, Mississippi.

There were over 300 cowboys and girls at the event for a crowded house. I had the chance to go by a little bit earlier in the day to check out what they called the Slack. This was where they narrowed down who the best were, and the ones who were going to participate on that night. These are some trained players in the game who take their jobs seriously. Mystikal, along with Lil Nate and the Zydeco Big Tymers, were also in the building for the big event, and you can believe that the crowd was on their feet for both of them. I was really impressed with the way that Mystikal actually moved around the crowd and took photos with everyone who wanted a flick with him. All I can say is that if you hear about the Black Rodeo coming to a city near you, make sure you get your tickets early and don't miss it.
