About four months ago I got that chance to see singer BJ The Chicago Kid live in concert. He was on stage with Big K.R.I.T and Scotty ATL and when I tell you the guys put on a show. He killed it and had the crowd singing to his new song "Church" and he did a few covers as well.

Well his first official album is going to be released on February 19th and I got an advance copy of it and from the beginning to the end. The album is a classic. With this young man possibly not even being born at the reign of singers like Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross and even R. Kelly. When I listened to his album, I heard a little bit of all of them. Check out his first video for "Church";

When the album is released, make sure to download it. It's called "In My Mind" and features standout tracks like "Man Down", "The Resume", "Home" and more. His lyrics are inspiring and also ahead of it's time. Props to the young man who is doing his thing and then some.
