The anticipated second season of Childish Gambino's award-winning Atlanta series finally has an official release date on FX, as well as a new title. According to Variety, the second season will be premiering on Thurs., March 1 at 10 P.M. EST, which comes after the cast and crew filmed the new season back in September.

The new season is reportedly titled "Atlanta Robbin’ Season," and continues to follow the "Redbone" rapper's character and Paperboy, who is played by Brian Tyree Henry, as they try to turn their lives around through music.

Gambino still serves as the executive producer of the hit series, which has earned multiple prestigious awards over the last year, including two Golden Globes, two Emmys, a Critics' Choice Award, an NAACP Image Award and more. The California native earned multiple Best Actor awards for his role in the series as well.

This is already a busy start to a major 2018 for Childish Gambino, who is slated to perform at the 2018 Grammy Awards, where he is nominated for five awards, himself. His hit single, "Redbone," is nominated for Best R&B Song, Record of the Year and Best Traditional R&B Performance, while his Awaken, My Love! album is nominated in the Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album categories.

Be sure to tune in to the season 2 premiere of Atlanta on FX on Thurs., March 1 at 10 P.M.
