Team Breezy is about to have a lit summer. Chris Brown announced over the weekend that he will drop a new album this year. Breaking the news on Instagram on Sunday (May 1), CB announced his new album in a since-deleted post.

"New Album (Heartbreak on a Full Moon) New Single Drops May 5th Go Download #OHBMixtape #BeforeTheTrap #NightsinTarzana," Breezy captioned the pic before wiping it from his page.

The 26-year-old singer later took to Twitter that same day to announce his to-do list for the next few weeks and again mentioned the new single he plans to drop on his birthday this Thursday. This new music comes just days after Brown dropped a new compilation mixtape with his group, OHB.

Breezy has been making serious moves in 2016 so far. The Virginia-born R&B star has dropped not one, not two but three dope remixes to his smash single, "Back To Sleep" off his 2015 album, Royalty. Chris Brown has also been heavy into designing for his streetwear clothing line, Black Pyramid, as well as promoting his upcoming documentary, Welcome To My Life. In the new doc, Brown openly confronts his demons and addresses one of the most infamous moments in his career, the night he assaulted one-time girlfriend and pop star Rihanna.

“I felt like a fucking monster,” Brown says in the trailer. “I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping, I wasn’t eating. I just was getting high.”

With a new documentary, his new group and more creative control than ever before, Team Breezy will be in for even more dope art from their boy.
