Due to 1,000 mandatory community labor hours, Chris Brown has cancelled his summer tour.

Several concerts in Canada have been cancelled because of the recent ruling.

Brown was set to headline the Energy Rush festival, stopping in Halifax, Toronto, Saint John and Winnipeg. The event's coordinator now says the shows will not happen “in light of the performer’s [Chris Brown's] recent personal and health-related issues.”

Nicole Perna, Brown's publicist, said he will use the time off to focus on his sixth album, 'X,' but regrets that he will not be able to perform for his Canadian fans.

"Chris appreciates the support of his many thousands of fans north of the border,” said Perna. “He is going to use this time to focus on himself and on the release of his upcoming album. Chris looks forward to performing in Canada very soon."

The terms of CB's community labor can reportedly be highway cleanup, beach cleanup, graffiti removal and alternative services for his labor hours.

Let's hope Chris keeps his head held high and does not let any of this discourage him. Let the man live for his past mistakes. No judging people!
