Chris Brown will finally bring his documentary to theaters this summer. The film, titled Life, will chronicle Breezy’s much-publicized trial and tribulations during his rise in the R&B music industry.

Last year, Brown released a trailer for the film, which was then called Welcome to My Life. In it, Brown said that he felt suicidal following his physical altercation with Rihanna in February 2009.

“I went from being on top of the world, No. 1 songs, being kind of like America’s sweetheart to being Public Enemy No. 1,” he said in an old interview shown in the clip. “I felt like a f---ing monster. I was thinking about suicide, I wasn’t sleeping, I barely ate.”

In a new snippet (watch above), Brown talks about his future in R&B. "I want to be at the pinnacle, the highest point, to where I’m known as a legend, almost," he says. The clip also features commentary from Brown's celebrity friends including Jamie Foxx, Usher, DJ Khaled and Jennifer Lopez who all sing their praises of the singer.

The Chris Brown documentary Life is expected to arrive in theaters in June but we don't have an exact date as of yet.

In the meantime, you can catch Brown on his “Party Tour” featuring Fabolous, O.T. Genasis and Kap G, which ends on May 23 in Los Angeles.
