Finally things on the positive for the singer/dancer/actor Chris Brown.  These days he's is on a major music high.  In the last year, Breezy's has dropped two albums.  His solo LP, X, debut at # 2 and Fan of a Fan: The Album with Tyga, came in at a modest #7 on the charts.  Fans also got a chance to see Breezy do his thing, along with Trey Songz for the "Between the Sheets" Tour.

Finally,  BET.com reports though he dropped his $51 million suit for now, Lil Wayne is still moving forward with his plans to leave Cash Money Records.  As previously reported the label allegedly owes Weezy millions in unpaid royalties and album advances.  Though it's been complete since 2013, Tha Carter V has been caught-up in the dispute and hasn't seen the light of day. Meanwhile, as he makes his exit, Lil Wayne is looking to keep his label imprint Young Money and his artists in tact.

According to AllHipHop, Weezy recently hired royalty collections company Kobalt, in attempts to get his money.  Weezy isn't Kobalt's only big name.  The collection companies clientele includes Ariana GrandeBruno MarsBusta RhymesKid Cudi and that's just to name of few.

So evidently, their good at what they do.  Speaking of which, below is an excerpt from Kobalt’s website describing their services:

“Kobalt’s powerful tracking system compares collection against detailed in-house expectations to ensure all income is correctly accounted. Kobalt develops these detailed expectations from 3rd party performance data, Territory expectations from Kobalt’s pre-distribution health check, as well as from the client’s income data. Combining these three data sources allows us to monitor collection and ensures all income is received.”
