Chris Brown To Get Residency In Las Vegas At Drai’s – Tha Wire
TMZ reports Chris Brown is about the follow in the footsteps of J-Lo, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey with a huge gig in Las Vegas. According to reports Breezy is in the process of closing a deal with the biggest beachclub/nightclub on the strip, the legendary Drai's. The give you an idea of how hot this place is, the beachclub/nightclub/after hours spot is the only place to be for the rich and famous and those wishing to party like the stars.
Chris Brown is already part of Drai's line-up of entertainment this month. Breezy will be performing two separate shows, one this Saturday October 3rd and then he'll be back for a special Halloween Michael Jackson tribute performance presented by the one and only Quincy Jones...Chris Brown Thriller.

According to TMZ, the singer inked a trial run type deal with Drai's and word has it Breezy is suppose to perform 6 shows at $50k a pop. If all goes well, as far as crowd and ticket sales, the R&B superstar will get the residency gig, which is estimated to be worth upwards $500 thousand. TMZ says the singer's previous performances at the famous venue were so impressive Drai's decided to test out a long term deal.
By the way, if it goes down there will be ten shows in all and sources say Trey Songz will also be part of the deal. The two superstars will reportedly rotate with performances ultimately doing five shows each. I will keep you posted on this one!.
Finally, I gotta give Rich Home Quan some props. The 25-year old rapper did the big boy thing and took responsibility for making a bad decision concerning his young son. I got a lot of respect for anyone who can step-up, admit being wrong and then apologize. It's not easy.
As previously reported the rapper caught major flack for uploading a video to SnapChat, showing his 1-year old on his lap, while puffed on something that looked a lot like a blunt. Quan also caught the attention of the Fulton County Police Department as well as Georgia's Child Protective Services.
Now he's being investigated and facing charges of child endangerment and reckless behavior. With all the backlash AllHipHop reports, Quan posted an apology on his Instagram page and took responsibility for making a poor decision.
With a pic of him kissing his gorgeous youngster, he wrote:
First off,I would like to apologize to my son,(Royal) my fans and all the parents around the world.By no means would I do anything to hurt my son or any kid in the world.I regret that I chose to continue to smoke once Royal jumped in my lap.After looking back on it I realize my error and I am sorry for my actions. I would also like to take the time to let people around the world know that this pedestal that I have been placed upon I do not take it for granted but I need people to understand that I am only human and I make mistakes just like anyone else. In spite of this situation I will continue to strive to be the best parent I can be. Thanks RHQ!!
Again it was a stupid thing to do, and hopefully the fallout from this will help other parents see this type of thing isn't cool. On the other hand it takes a man to accept responsibility and apologize for doing something wrong. So shouts out to Quan. Hopefully he can get out of this with a warning and doesn't make the same mistake again.
