Singer Chrisette Michele is a great singer, a beautiful spirit, and obviously a believer in chances of others. Unfortunately, she wasn't a great decision-maker when she accepted the proposal to perform for the Trump Inauguration earlier in the year.

She was eventually dropped for being featured in the Spike Lee "She's Got To Have It" feature on Netflix. She suffered a miscarriage and recently was dropped from her label deal with Capitol after what I feel was one of her best albums to date. She appeared on The Breakfast Club earlier this year to back up her reason for performing at the inauguration and other backlash she received. However, now she seems to have come to reality and stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about her regret about performing and other hardships over the past few months.

While there are no individuals on this earth with the power to judge, there are many of us who take that power under our hands and utilize it. However, there are many of us who make mistakes, and I am sure that Chrisette understands whether it was a mistake or not in her career. She is working on making a comeback with her latest single called "Strong Black Woman" that is available for download. Check it out, and let me know what your thoughts are about the single.
