Chuck Fest Introduced Lake Charles Culture To The World [PICTURES]

This weekend was a busy day for me as the 107 Jamz crew and our TSM family moved around the city and took part in plenty of things in the area. We kicked the morning off with the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer walk at the Lake Charles Civic Center and then moved on to the Chuck Fest.

This was our first time taking part in this event, but I can guarantee you that this will not be the last time. Everything kicked off at noon with music of all including Zydeco from Rusty Metoyer and dance styled music from Sorta and more. It was a great event to really showcase what Lake Charles has to offer from great food to great people.

During the afternoon it even started to rain periodically but that didn't stop the people from showing up and supporting the event. This was the third one and from the looks of it, the organizers were happy with the outcome and I Want to thank them for allowing us to be apart of the event and of course to the Townsquare Media family for coming out from The Lake , Gator 99.5 and 107 Jamz. Be on the lookout for next year with an even bigger lineup and turnout, hopefully without the rain.
